Travel and Transport
We recommend traveling by car to the venue and kindly encourage car sharing where possible. Below, you’ll find details on all available transport options to Windsor and the Flower Show.
Standard Parking: £5 per car when booked in advance and £10 on the day. The car park opens from 9:00 am
VIP Parking: £10 per car (limited availability, pre-book only—no on-the-day sales).

By Car
- Use the postcode SL4 2BS for navigation
- Windsor Great Park is easily accessible, located about 30 miles west of London and just 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport
- All vehicles should arrive via Rangers Gate from the A332
- Follow the traffic staff instructions and signage to reach the designated car park and showground
By Public Transport
By Rail
- The closest rail stations are Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside, both within a 15-20 minute taxi ride from the showground. Expect to pay around £16 for a taxi to the York Club in Windsor Great Park, where the Flower Show is held. Visit National Rail Enquiries for ticket information
By Bus
- The White Bus 01 Service operates between Windsor High Street and Ascot Train Station with stops throughout the Great Park. This service runs Monday to Saturday
By Foot
- It is not recommend to walk from Windsor but if you are up for a walk, the journey from the town centre to the York Club in Windsor Great Park takes approximately 2 hours. Enjoy the scenic route through the park!
By Bicycle
- National Cycle Route 4 passes directly through Windsor Great Park and is your best cycling option. Make sure to check the Windsor Great Park cycling guidelines for a safe experience
- The best postcode to use is SL4 2BS. Please enter through the Rangers Gate and follow traffic staff and signage to the Royal Windsor Flower Show car park
- Bicycle hire is available in Windsor town centre. Contact Windsor Tourist Information for more details
- Cycling from Windsor & Eton Central train station to the York Club usually takes around 30 minutes.

Upon your arrival at the show, take time to explore the stunning display gardens, floral stands and plant exhibits that make the Royal Windsor Flower Show Unique. Stroll around the Great British Nurseries selling their beautiful plants and the Competitions Marquee, where you’ll discover talented entries of everything from traditional blooms to creative culinary delights.
Join in the interactive talks, workshops and demonstrations where you can learn new gardening skills, how to create your own floral masterpiece, or even try your hand at a traditional craft activity. A detailed map of the showgrounds will be provided to help you explore and enjoy the show!

Tips for a Great Day
To have an enjoyable experience at the Royal Windsor Flower Show, try to arrive early to beat the crowds and find a good parking space. Be sure to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly. Much of the event takes place on grass so wear appropriate and comfortable footwear.
Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated, and consider packing a notepad for jotting down ideas or inspirations you gather from the displays. While a variety of food and drink options will be available from numerous stands, feel free to bring along a picnic to enjoy as well!

Q: Where can I buy tickets to the show?
A: Tickets are available [here] Early bird tickets are £16 (38% off), adult advance tickets are £22, and Show day tickets are £26. Buy in advance to avoid disappointment.

A: Sign up for our occasional NEWSLETTER for advance notice of Early bird tickets. You can unsubscribe anytime.
Q: Can I buy a ticket at the Entrance Gate?
A: Yes, tickets may be available at Show Day price of £26 at the gate, payment by card only.
Q: Do Royal Windsor Rose Horticultural Society (RWRHS) members get a discount?
A: Yes, RWRHS members can buy tickets for £10 per adult. Codes will be sent closer to the event.
Q: Do you offer any other ticket discounts?
A: Unfortunately, no. The Royal Windsor Flower Show helps to fund the charitable community projects of the Royal Windsor Rose Horticultural Society.
Q: Do RHS members get free entry to the Royal Windsor Flower Show?
A: No, RHS membership does not grant free entry. The RWRHS (Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society) is not linked to the RHS.
Q: Do residents of Windsor Great Park receive a discount?
A: Yes, discounted tickets are available for Windsor Great Park residents. Please contact the Crown Estate office for more details.
