Our Mission

The Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society has a rich history and heritage in horticulture dedicated to nurturing a love for gardening and nature within our local community.

Today, our mission is to inspire interest and creativity in not only horticulture but also in nature, cookery and traditional crafts through engaging events and educational activities to inspire individuals of all ages.

Our Aim

The Royal Windsor Rose & Horticultural Society collaborates with and supports local charities through events, raising funds and promoting gardening and craft as a means of community engagement. Our aim is to motivate young people in the community to get involved in ‘real-life’ outdoor activities and hands-on experiences, free from digital distractions.

Charity Highlight

We have recently made a donation to the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood in Middlesex, to support an inspiring garden project led by gardener and presenter Matthew Biggs, who visited our society in November 2024. During his talk, Matthew shared his passion for creating healing spaces through gardening, highlighting the therapeutic benefits that these environments can bring to patients and visitors alike.
