About the Visit
Join us for an exclusive members-only tour of the historic Eythrope Gardens, led Daniel Jones, Assistant Garden Manager and winner of last year’s Royal Windsor Flower Show ‘Master Gardener’ competition. This special event offers a rare opportunity to explore the private Rothschild walled garden, normally closed to the public.

A Legendary Walled Garden
Created by Alice de Rothschild, Eythrope Garden is renowned for its horticultural excellence, perfectionism and innovation. Originally designed to supply vegetables, fruit, herbs and cut flowers for her household, the garden continues to thrive today, providing fresh produce for Waddesdon’s restaurants, hotel, and food markets.
A working garden of this scale is rare in the 21st century and Eythrope remains a haven for traditional horticultural techniques that might otherwise be lost. Discover its history, ongoing legacy and exceptional gardening practices on this fascinating tour.
